Faulkton Area Medical Center (FAMC) is accepting applications for a full-time Clinic Nurse (RN, LPN, or Medical Assistant) to join our patient-centered healthcare team. This position plays a key role in supporting providers and ensuring efficient, high-quality care in our clinic setting.

Medical Assistant: $18.00–$23.00/hour

Licensed Practical Nurse: $22.00–$27.00/hour

Registered Nurse: $30.00–$35.00/hour
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Daytime hours only
- 36–40 hours per week
- Onsite position
Required Qualifications
- Current South Dakota RN or LPN license or proof of completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Graduated from an accredited nursing or medical assisting program
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic with frequent interruptions
- Previous experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic
- Schedule appointments and complete referrals
- Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical instruments
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinic staff while maintaining a positive, professional attitude

Faulkton Area Medical Center is an independent, non-profit, 12-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. We are located along SD HWY 212 in Faulkton, SD serving a diverse population of 3,000 within a 60 mile radius. FAMC is one of the few independent hospitals left in the state of South Dakota.
