Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team full-time. This position offers variable 12-hour shifts 3 times per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay differentials for nights/weekends included.
***$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS***

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform timely and accurate patient assessments and documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently.
- Supervise and assist nursing assistants.
- Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in patient care planning and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- Current SD Registered Nurse licensure required.
- New nurses encouraged to apply.
- Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years experience in acute patient care/swingbed/emergency room.
- Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts with frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
Work Environment:
- Indoor, safety-sensitive, requiring physical presence on-site.

Faulkton Area Medical Center is an independent, non-profit, 12-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. We are located along SD HWY 212 in Faulkton, SD serving a diverse population of 3,000 within a 60 mile radius. FAMC is one of the few independent hospitals left in the state of South Dakota.
