Faulkton Area Medical Center is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Position qualifies for full benefit package. Requirements:
- Current South Dakota Registered Nursing license
- Possess a bachelor's degree (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
- Experience in acute care and emergency settings
- Prior management experience (preferred)
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, and PALS (preferred)
Essential Duties:
- Member of the facility management team
- Exercises management responsibilities over supervisory and non-supervisory team members
- Serves as an advisory role to Administration
- Manager for Acute, Emergency, Materials Management, Outreach, and Outpatient
- Administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the functions, activities, and training of the Nursing staff and is responsible for the total nursing care needs of all patients
Faulkton Area Medical Center is an independent, non-profit, 12-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic. We are located along SD HWY 212 in Faulkton, SD serving a diverse population of 3,000 within a 60 mile radius. FAMC is one of the few independent hospitals left in the state of South Dakota.
